Tilly is a small, scruffy terrier. When her master dies she is taken from his home by the old man’s son, who instead of looking after her, throws the little dog out into his garden where she is left to fend for herself through a freezing winter. Huddled beneath a bush, kicked by the man’s wife if she ventures out, Tilly lies, cold and miserable waiting for her only friends, the garden birds to return with the Spring. One day, the half-starved little dog is taken from the garden by the man and loaded into his car. She is about to embark on a journey into the unknown, a journey that will change Tilly’s life for ever. Share in the trials and tribulations of this remarkable little dog as she finds that life in the human world can be a cruel and lonely one, but that hope and the will to survive can bring about the most miraculous of changes.
